The Wellness Tour is a joint collaboration project between Heidi from “Life in Balance: Ayurveda & Yoga”, David’s Tours and our passionate experts in India. Participants of the tour will discover many ancient Indian traditions about wellness and good health as well as experience fine Indian food and many of the icons that make for great photographic memories.
Heidi is an experienced Professor & Practitioner of Ayurveda and Yoga, with a well established clinic in Noosa, Queensland. Her journey in this field is deeply rooted to her many years working and studying in India. Continued studies and discoveries help her to understand the balance needed not only in the physical body and this knowledge is shared with all of her clients. She lives her life with the motto: “We need to respect our present Life, as well as Life beyond. Perfect health is available to everyone.”

Join the Wellness Tour to experience “behind the scenes” places and learn about the culture that brought Yoga and Ayurveda to the world and how it has developed into many strands – all being part of someone’s journey to a better way of living.

This short tour includes World Heritage Listed Icons in North India as well as the wellness information shared by experts. The tour commences in Delhi and travels to the important destinations of Ranthembore, Jaipur, Agra and Varanasi, then returning to Delhi.

Travel with a small group of like-minded travelers who are  interested wellness. Visit several handpicked Ayurveda and yoga places that not all get to see. Your passionate tour leaders have traveled extensively in India. They are aware of safety matters and will provide guidance on the best ways to reduce risks.

Enjoy the food, especially the vegetarian meals, like palak paneer, malai kofti, dahl makhni, and the many types of naams and rotis that are found almost in every place. Start the day with puri and perhaps some yoga.  Hear interesting facts about the food and its preparation.

Pamper yourself with massages and other Ayurveda relaxation opportunities.Return home with new ideas and great memories.

Some of the World Heritage Listed sites include the Qutab Minar in Delhi, the Taj Mahal in Agra, the Pink City of Jaipur. Listen to the stories about each place and see that the history of India is really interesting. At Ranthambore, enjoy the jeep safaris searching for the elusive tiger.

Relax in the evenings in unique hotels and accommodation places meeting locals on many occasions. Grab a bargain or two at the markets. Don’t forget to bring your haggling skills, if haggling is your thing!
